1. Clarify the type and purpose of the face mask. Make it clear whether you want a medical mask or a non-medical mask.
2. Check product certification and standards
If it is a medical mask, check whether the product has a medical device registration certificate and whether it complies with relevant standards such as YY0469; if it is a non-medical mask, check whether the product implements the corresponding national standards or industry standards.
3. Pay attention to the material and structure of the face mask
The material of a high-quality mask should be soft and skin-friendly, odorless and flawless. At the same time, the inner and outer materials of the mask should have a certain degree of waterproofness and breathability. The mask should have a multi-layer structure, especially the filter layer, which should be fine and efficient, and can block particles and harmful substances in the air.
4. Check the fit and sealing of the face mask
Pay attention to the design of the nose clip to ensure that the mask can better fit the bridge of the nose and the contour of the face to reduce gaps;
There is also the sealing of the mask: after wearing the mask, you can check the sealing of the mask by exhaling gently. If you feel that there is gas leaking from the edge of the mask, it means that the sealing of the mask is not good.
5. Avoid buying products without qualifications, implementation standards, or "three-no" products (no production date, no quality certificate, no brand and manufacturer information). These are all low-quality face masks.
